On February 22^>nd, in the year 2222, at 22.20, a young man, named Abel, reclined his favorite armchair thinking of – or rather looking forward to – a moment coming in two minutes and 22 seconds. At the beginning of January, he had realized the unique combination of numbers that would occur in 2222, on February 22^>nd at 22.22 and 22 seconds. There are so many twos at once! This unprecedented moment had never occurred before!

Something is about to happen, Abel thought. It’s an extraordinary sequence of numbers! Such an auspicious event has happened only once in the Earth’s history: on November 11^>th, in 1111. But there is no information surviving about that time. Even the Historian couldn’t tell me anything important about it.

The young man turned off all means of communication in advance so that no one could bother him during this fateful moment.
